Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This machine targets competitive gamers and content creators who need high refresh-rate 2.5K visuals, 24-thread CPU performance and 16GB GDDR7 graphics memory in a single chassis. Buyers wanting a lighter device, longer unplugged runtime, a touchscreen, an SD card reader or a fingerprint reader should consider other models.

Deciding specification: 18-inch 2.5K 240Hz Mini

The 18-inch 2560 x 1600 Mini LED panel running at 240Hz with a 3ms response time is the single specification that determines fit. It delivers the high-refresh, high-resolution canvas the RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 is built to drive; if your workflow or games do not need that combination, a smaller or lower-refresh panel will serve you better.

Questions about this item

What are the exact chassis dimensions and weight for checking bag or desk fit?

The laptop measures 15.71 x 11.73 x 0.93 inches and weighs 6.28 pounds.

Windows 11 Pro and the Office 2024 licence are already activated, so what remaining step catches people out?

Sign in with a Microsoft account during the first boot to bind the digital licences to your profile; skipping this leaves Office unregistered.

The 32 GB DDR5 memory is soldered, so which storage slot can be swapped later?

The 4 TB PCIe SSD occupies one M.2 slot; a second M.2 slot is free for future capacity upgrades.
