18-inch 240Hz QHD+ display

The ROG Strix Scar 18 is a gaming laptop built around an 18.0-inch WQXGA panel running at 240Hz. It pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and a 5.4GHz turbo frequency with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU carrying 12GB of GDDR7 memory. The system includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home with an Office 2021 license.

Suited for high-refresh competitive play

The 24-core CPU and high-wattage mobile GPU target users who need desktop-class throughput in a portable chassis for esports, content creation and multi-application workloads. Buyers who prioritise battery longevity, a smaller footprint or a lower acoustic profile under load should evaluate thinner ultraportables or external-GPU setups instead.

240Hz refresh rate on an 18-inch panel

The defining specification is the 18.0-inch 2560 x 1600 display driven at 240Hz, which determines whether the laptop matches the motion-clarity and screen-real-estate requirements of the intended workflow. If a lower refresh rate or a different aspect ratio is acceptable, alternative models with similar compute hardware but different panels may be more appropriate.
