Compact Tenkeyless Design

The ROG Strix Scope NX TKL is a wired mechanical keyboard with a tenkeyless layout that frees desk space for broad mouse movements. It uses exclusive ROG NX Brown tactile switches with a 1.8 mm actuation point and connects via USB 2.0. An aluminum faceplate adds rigidity and a Moonlight White finish.

Actuation And Force Curve

ROG NX Brown switches actuate at 1.8 mm with an initial force of 40 gf that rises to 55 gf for rebound feedback. The tuned force curve delivers instantaneous keystrokes and a smooth, linear feel during extended gaming sessions. Xccurate Design widens the left Ctrl key so it is easier to locate in frantic FPS play.

Thermals Noise And Power

The keyboard draws power directly from the USB 2.0 connection without an external adapter. Mechanical switches produce audible tactile feedback but no active cooling noise. The aluminum top plate dissipates minimal heat from the PCB during normal use. A detachable braided cable simplifies transport and cable management.

Questions about this item

Does the ROG NX Brown switch actuation force of 40 gf initial and 55 gf peak make the keyboard noisy or hot during all-day use?

The tactile ROG NX Brown switches have no active cooling or moving parts that generate heat. Sound level depends on typing style and keycap material; the keyboard itself produces no measurable heat.

What must I already own to use the USB 2.0 wired connection on this tenkeyless keyboard?

A free USB Type-A port on a PC or laptop running an OS that supports standard HID keyboard input. The detachable braided cable is included in the box.

Will the aluminum faceplate and Xccurate Design wide Ctrl key fit alongside my older full-size keyboard tray or monitor arm setup?

The tenkeyless footprint measures 14.02 inches wide by 5.35 inches deep, so it occupies less horizontal space than a full-size board and clears most monitor arms.
