EVA-02 Edition Full-Size Keyboard

The ASUS ROG Strix Scope RX EVA-02 Edition is a full-size wired gaming keyboard built around ROG RX Red optical mechanical switches. Its EVA-themed red and orange colour scheme includes transparent Esc and F12 keycaps plus a dye-sub spacebar. An alloy top cover and IP57 dust and water resistance protect the internals. Windows 10 and 11 are supported.

Bundled Keycaps Puller And Extras

The package adds four extra EVA-themed keycaps and a ROG keycap puller so you can swap the transparent Esc and F12 caps or the spacebar without tools. A quick-start guide and warranty booklet complete the documentation. No palm rest, mouse or software disc is included.

USB 2.0 Passthrough Port Limits

A USB 2.0 Type-C to Type-A passthrough port sits on the keyboard for charging devices or attaching external storage. Bandwidth is limited to the USB 2.0 standard, so high-speed drives will not reach their rated throughput. The port draws power from the same host connection that powers the keyboard.

Questions about this item

How often will the ROG RX Red Optical switches need replacement?

The optical switches use central lighting and near-zero debounce, eliminating physical contact wear so no switch replacement schedule is required.

What limit appears first during extended gaming sessions with the alloy top cover?

The IP57-rated alloy top cover resists dust and water ingress, so thermal throttling or debris buildup is not the limiting factor.

How much power does the USB 2.0 Type-C to Type-A passthrough draw when charging devices all day?

The full-function USB 2.0 passthrough supports device charging and external storage within standard USB 2.0 power limits.
