27-inch QHD OLED Gaming Monitor

The ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACDNG is a 27-inch QHD OLED gaming monitor built for competitive players who demand speed and colour accuracy. Its 26.5-inch viewable anti-reflection QD-OLED panel delivers 2560 x 1440 resolution with a 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time. The display covers 99% DCI-P3 and 135% sRGB with true 10-bit colour depth for vibrant, accurate visuals.

Stand Mounting and Cable Management

The monitor features a square base design that reduces desk footprint and includes a mobile holder socket plus a 1/4-inch tripod socket for streaming accessories. Rich I/O comprises DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports, USB Type-C with 90W Power Delivery and USB 3.2 Gen 1 for straightforward peripheral connectivity. Setup is simplified by the compact stand and integrated cable routing.

HDR Brightness and Burn-in Considerations

VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification provides 1000 cd/m² peak brightness for highlight detail in HDR content while the OLED panel achieves a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio. Sustained full-screen brightness sits at 250 cd/m², so extended bright desktop use may appear dimmer than high-nit LCDs. Users should enable pixel cleaning utilities and avoid static UI elements to mitigate long-term burn-in risk.

Questions about this item

Will the 27 inch screen fit on a compact desk?

The square base is designed to save desktop space so you can pull your keyboard and mouse closer. A 1/4 inch tripod socket on the stand also lets you mount a camera or extra display without a separate arm.

Can I charge a laptop over the USB Type C port while gaming?

The USB Type C connection delivers up to 90 W of power delivery, enough for most ultraportable and mid range laptops during normal use.

Does the panel support both major variable refresh rate standards?

Yes, the monitor is G Sync compatible and also certified for FreeSync Premium Pro, so adaptive sync works with both NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards.
