27-inch QHD OLED gaming monitor

The ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQDMGZ is a 27-inch QHD OLED gaming monitor built for competitive players who value instantaneous pixel response. Its 2560 x 1440 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio deliver sharp detail without demanding extreme graphics horsepower. The glossy WOLED panel covers 99% DCI-P3 and 135% sRGB for vivid colour accuracy.

Interface and refresh limits

The monitor connects through one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0 port, capping the 240 Hz refresh rate at QHD resolution over a single cable. Adaptive sync works with both FreeSync Premium and G-Sync Compatible implementations to eliminate tearing across supported GPUs. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a headphone jack handle peripheral passthrough.

Burn-in mitigation and luminance behaviour

ASUS OLED Care combines a custom heatsink, airflow design and optional uniform brightness to reduce burn-in risk during static content. Peak HDR brightness reaches 1,300 cd/m² while full-screen white sits at 275 cd/m², so sustained bright scenes dim noticeably compared to highlights. Buyers who need consistent full-field luminance for professional grading should note this characteristic.
