27-inch 4K Fast IPS gaming monitor

The ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCSR is a 27-inch UHD display built for players who want 3840 x 2160 resolution at 160 Hz. A Fast IPS panel delivers 1 ms GTG response with a 0.3 ms minimum, while 95% DCI-P3 and 130% sRGB coverage serve colour-critical work alongside gaming. HDR10 support and DisplayHDR 400 certification add baseline high-dynamic-range performance.

Three-sided thin bezel with full ergonomic stand

The cabinet uses a 3-sided thin frame and anti-glare coating on a flat panel. The stand provides tilt from +20° to -5°, swivel ±45°, pivot ±90° and 110 mm height adjustment, so the screen can be centred for long sessions or rotated for vertical workflows. A 100 x 100 mm VESA mount is also available for arm or wall mounting.

DisplayPort 1.4 HDMI 2.1

Video inputs comprise one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.1 and one USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, while a second USB-C port supplies up to 15 W for charging peripherals. The monitor draws 25 W typical, 0.5 W in power-saving and under 0.3 W when off. Buyers who need built-in speakers, a webcam, higher HDR brightness or more than one HDMI 2.1 port should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will my graphics card drive 4K at 160 Hz over the DisplayPort 1.4 connection?

The monitor’s DisplayPort 1.4 input supports the full 3840 x 2160 resolution at 160 Hz, so any GPU with a DP 1.4 output can drive the panel at its maximum refresh rate.

Does the USB-C port carry enough power to charge a laptop while gaming?

The USB-C port delivers up to 15 W via Power Delivery, which is sufficient for ultraportables but not for most gaming laptops that require 60 W or more.

Can I mount the screen on a standard VESA arm and still adjust height?

Yes, the 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern allows any compliant mount, and the included stand already provides 110 mm of height travel plus tilt, swivel and pivot.
