Handheld Gaming PC

The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X RC73XA is a 7-inch Windows 11 Pro handheld built around an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. It carries 24 GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 4 TB PCIe NVMe Gen4 SSD for fast load times. The 120 Hz FHD touchscreen targets players who want full PC game compatibility in a portable form factor.

Thermal Design and Power

Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material is applied to the CPU and GPU to lower system temperatures under load. The 8-core processor runs at a 2.0 GHz base clock and can boost to 5.0 GHz with 24 MB of L3 cache. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics share the same cooling solution, keeping fan noise in check during extended sessions.

Build Integration

The chassis measures 11.42 by 4.76 by 1.08 inches and weighs 1.58 lbs, leaving room in a bag for a compact charger and accessories. Onboard LPDDR5X memory is soldered, so the storage drive remains the only user-replaceable component. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed with updated BIOS and drivers, letting the device join existing Steam, Xbox or Battle.net libraries without extra setup.
