ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 GU605CP

This 16 inch gaming laptop pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. It runs Windows 11 Home and ships in an Eclipse Gray chassis. The system targets enthusiasts who want high frame rates on a premium OLED panel.

Sustained load behaviour

HIDevolution applies Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on the CPU and Gelid GC Extreme on the GPU during assembly. These thermal interface materials lower junction temperatures during extended gaming or rendering sessions. The factory stress test verifies stability before the unit leaves the workshop.

240Hz OLED display decides fit

The 16 inch panel delivers a 2560 by 1600 resolution at a 240 Hz refresh rate. That combination determines whether the laptop matches a buyer's need for smooth motion and sharp detail in fast-paced titles. Buyers who prioritise a different refresh rate or aspect ratio should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Ultra 9-285H and RTX 5070 run with the Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound during long sessions?

The CPU receives Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut and the GPU gets Gelid GC Extreme, a high-conductivity paste that lowers peak temperatures and keeps fan speeds lower under sustained load.

Which peripherals or docks must I already own to use the 2560 x 1600 240Hz OLED panel and 4 TB NVMe storage at full speed?

The display is internal; an external monitor needs its own cable. The 4 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD is already installed, so no extra drive is required for full throughput.

Will my older USB-A mouse and HDMI 1.4 monitor work with the Arrow Lake Ultra 9-285H platform?

The laptop includes USB-A ports and an HDMI output, so legacy mice and 1080p displays connect directly without adapters.
