16-inch 240Hz OLED gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 GU605CX pairs a 16-core Intel Core Ultra 9-285H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 8 TB of NVMe storage support demanding creative and gaming workloads. A 16.0-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED panel refreshes at 240 Hz for smooth motion. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed.

Factory-applied thermal upgrades and sealed memory

HIDevolution applies Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on the CPU and Gelid GC Extreme on the GPU before shipment. The 32 GB LPDDR5X 7467 dual-channel memory is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded by the user. Two 4 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSDs occupy the available storage slots. Buyers should verify the drive configuration meets future capacity needs before purchase.

OLED panel and mobile GPU constraints

The 240 Hz OLED display delivers per-pixel lighting but sustained full-screen brightness may be limited to protect the organic material. The mobile RTX 5090 with 24 GB GDDR7 operates within a thin 0.59 to 0.65 inch chassis, so thermal headroom is lower than desktop equivalents. PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe storage provides fast sequential speeds, yet the interface caps peak throughput below newer PCIe 5.0 designs.
