1U rackmount barebone for dual Xeon 6 CPUs with 32 DDR5 slots, four hot-swap NVMe bays, dual 10GbE and 2000W redundant power
This 1U barebones server fits two Intel Xeon 6 Scalable processors, each rated up to 350W TDP, delivering dense multi-core compute for virtualization, HPC and database workloads. The DC-MHS architecture enables modular integration into modern data-centre racks while the tool-less top cover and hot-swap fan bar simplify field maintenance. Remote management is handled by the ASMB12-iKVM BMC for out-of-band KVM-over-IP control.
Four PCIe 5.0 slots and an OCP 3.0 mezzanine provide high-bandwidth expansion for accelerators, networking or storage controllers, but the 1U height restricts card length and cooler clearance to low-profile form factors. Dual native 10GbE RJ45 ports handle baseline east-west traffic; additional throughput requires occupying a PCIe or OCP slot. The redundant 2000W Titanium power supplies share the load, yet total draw must stay within the 2000W budget per feed.
Sixteen memory channels across 32 DDR5 ECC RDIMM slots support up to 4TB at 6400MHz 1DPC, giving ample headroom for in-memory databases and large VM fleets. Four hot-swap NVMe drive bays plus two internal M.2 sockets supply high-speed local storage, though capacity tops out at the four U.2/U.3 devices. Workloads demanding more than four front NVMe drives or more than 4TB of RAM will exceed the chassis limits.

The board has 32 DDR5 RDIMM slots across 16 channels; filling more channels raises total bandwidth up to 6400 MHz per DIMM, while partial population still works but leaves throughput on the table.
Each Xeon 6 Scalable processor can draw up to 350 W, so the cooling system and 2000 W redundant PSUs are sized to handle two such CPUs under sustained load.
PCIe 5.0 provides up to 32 GT/s per lane, and the OCP 3.0 slot supports the same generation, so NVMe drives and network cards can run at Gen 5 speeds without bottleneck.
