A 1U rackmount barebone supporting dual AMD EPYC 9004 processors, 24 DDR5 memory slots, 12 NVMe/SATA/SAS bays, 10GbE networking and 1600W redundant power
The ASUS RS700A-E12-RS12U-16W10G is a 1U rackmount server barebone built for two Socket SP5 processors. It targets datacentre operators and HPC integrators who need dense AMD EPYC 9004 series compute with integrated 10 Gigabit networking and flexible PCIe Gen5 expansion. No CPU or memory is installed, so the buyer supplies both.
Twenty-four 288-pin slots accept DDR5 4800/4400 RDIMM or 3DS RDIMM modules across twelve channels per socket, scaling to 3072 GB per processor. Twelve 2.5-inch bays support NVMe, SATA or SAS drives, plus two M.2 slots, giving ample local storage headroom. The board maxes at two CPUs and 24 DIMMs; larger memory or processor counts need a different platform.
A 1600 W 1+1 redundant 80 Plus supply feeds the chassis, while three PCIe Gen5 x16 slots — one full-height full-length, one FHFL or OCP 3.0, one low-profile — plus an internal Gen4 x8 RAID slot handle accelerators or networking. Rear I/O includes dual 10GbE RJ45, two USB 3.2 Gen1, VGA and a dedicated management port; no GPU beyond the Aspeed AST2600 BMC is provided.

Yes, the 1+1 redundant 1600W units are rated 80 Plus and support up to two 400W EPYC 9004 CPUs, so your current processors will run within the power budget.
The dedicated management port and the VGA output are driven by the Aspeed AST2600; a live management-port link light and video signal on the VGA connector show the BMC is running.
You must buy AMD EPYC 9004 series CPUs, DDR5 4800 or 4400 RDIMM or 3DS RDIMM modules, 2.5-inch NVMe, SATA or SAS drives for the front bays, and M.2 modules for the two internal M.2 slots.
