Dual AMD EPYC 9004 2U server

This 2U rackmount barebones platform accepts up to two AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors in Socket SP5, each with a 400 W TDP ceiling. Twenty-four 288-pin DDR5 slots provide 12-channel memory bandwidth at 4800 or 4400 MHz, scaling to 3072 GB per socket. The chassis targets AI, HPC and dense virtualisation workloads that demand high core counts and memory capacity.

Redundant Titanium power and PCIe 5.0 density

A 2600 W 1+1 redundant 80 Plus Titanium supply feeds the system. Nine PCIe 5.0 expansion slots support configurations of six x8, three x16 full-height cards, plus an OCP 3.0 slot, a low-profile x16 slot and an internal x8 Gen4 RAID slot. Two M.2 connectors and front bays for up to eight NVMe, SATA or SAS drives handle boot and cache tiers. Dual 10 GbE via Intel I710-AT2 and ASPEED AST2600 iKVM complete the rear I/O.

Replaces single-socket or PCIe 4.0 platforms

Organisations moving from single-socket servers or PCIe 4.0 infrastructure gain double the socket count, 12-channel DDR5 and Gen5 I/O for GPU and storage scaling. The jump is worth it when workloads saturate memory bandwidth or require more than two double-slot accelerators. Buyers who need only one processor, fewer than 12 memory channels, or legacy PCIe 3.0 cards will not use the headroom this chassis provides.
