The ASUS Spear V2 Rampage Gear is a wired gaming mouse built for right-handed players who demand adjustable precision. Its optical sensor delivers up to 12,800 DPI with 60 IPS tracking for accurate cursor control across multiple genres. Sixteen programmable buttons provide extensive macro support for MMO, FPS and RTS titles. The adjustable grip style accommodates different hand positions during long sessions.

Low Power Draw with Stable Wired Connection

Drawing power directly from the USB port, the mouse operates without batteries or charging downtime. The 125 Hz polling rate ensures consistent communication with the host system during intense gameplay. A 2.4 GHz wireless option is also supported for flexible connectivity. With switches rated for 50 million clicks, the primary buttons maintain reliable actuation over extended use.

Durable Ergonomic Build with RGB Customisation

Anti-slip side grips and an ergonomic shape reduce fatigue during marathon sessions. The lightweight construction at 4.8 ounces allows swift movements without sacrificing stability. Twelve RGB lighting modes across 16.8 million colours let users personalise the white finish to match their setup. Questions about this item

How do I install the software for the ASUS Spear V2 and what step do people often miss?

Download the zip from bit.ly/m/rampage, select the Spear model, then open Task Manager with Ctrl+Shift+Esc, choose File > Run new task, browse to the extracted Rampage SPEAR V2 Gaming Mouse.exe on the Desktop, and press OK; the step many skip is launching the executable via Task Manager instead of double-clicking it.

What part of the ASUS Spear V2 will need replacement first after heavy use?

The switches are rated for 50 million clicks, so the primary buttons are the components most likely to wear out first under sustained gaming.

At what polling rate does the ASUS Spear V2 operate during extended sessions?

The mouse runs at a fixed 125 Hz polling rate, which is the limiting factor for report latency during prolonged use.
