Right-hand ergonomic gaming mouse

The ASUS Taipan Pro Redragon is a new right-handed gaming mouse with an optical sensor and adjustable grip style. It connects via 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or wired USB and weighs 0.25 pounds. The design targets players who want a single device for PC, Mac, or laptop without cable drag.

Sixteen programmable buttons and RGB driver

Sixteen buttons include eight macro keys and a rapid-fire button, all remappable through the Redragon Pro driver software downloaded from the vendor site. The software also controls five onboard DPI steps up to 10000 and customisable RGB lighting effects such as streaming, breathing, and waving patterns.

Plug-and-play with optional software setup

Basic wired and 2.4 GHz wireless operation works immediately after inserting the nano receiver into a USB port. Bluetooth pairing adds a second wireless option for compatible systems. Full macro programming and DPI redefinition require installing the driver, which is the only common setup step that can delay use.

Questions about this item

How often will the rechargeable battery need replacing after daily 45-hour cycles?

The internal battery is rated for up to 45 hours per charge in eco-mode; replacement is only needed when it no longer holds that runtime.

Will the PAW3325 sensor maintain 1000 Hz polling during marathon sessions?

The PAW3325 optical sensor supports 1000 Hz polling in both 2.4 GHz and wired modes, so sustained use stays at that rate.

Does the mouse get warm or loud after running all day on 2.4 GHz?

Optical sensors and 2.4 GHz radio produce no audible noise; the mouse stays at room temperature during continuous operation.
