Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Ryzen 7 7735HS get when the laptop runs all day?

The eight-core Ryzen 7 7735HS boosts to 4.7 GHz and shares a chassis with the Radeon RX 7700S 8 GB GDDR6, so sustained loads will spin the internal fans and warm the 1.06-inch thick deck; expect noticeable airflow noise during long gaming sessions.

Which peripherals and cables must I already own to use every port on this TUF A16?

You need USB-A 3.2 devices for the two Type-A sockets, USB-C 3.2 or USB4 gear for the two Type-C sockets, an HDMI 2.1 FRL cable for the video output, and an RJ-45 patch cord if you want wired Ethernet.

Can I drive my older 1080p display from the HDMI 2.1 FRL port without scaling issues?

Yes — the HDMI 2.1 FRL output supports 1920 x 1080 at high refresh rates, so a legacy 1080p panel will work at its native resolution alongside the built-in 1920 x 1200 165 Hz screen.
