TUF A16 16-inch gaming laptop

The ASUS TUF A16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor and a Radeon RX 7700S GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home. The 165Hz FHD+ display and a full port selection including USB4 and HDMI 2.1 suit gamers and creators who need a single mobile workstation.

Sustained load behaviour

The eight-core Ryzen 7 7735HS boosts to 4.7 GHz while the discrete RX 7700S handles graphics workloads independently of the integrated graphics. Dual-graphics switching keeps frame rates stable during extended sessions, and the 165Hz panel refreshes fast enough to show the benefit. Wi-Fi 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.3 maintain connectivity when the system is pushed.

Deciding specification: 4TB PCIe SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the 4TB PCIe SSD. That capacity removes the need for external drives or a secondary internal slot for most game libraries and creative caches. If your workflow demands more local storage than 4TB, this chassis cannot accept an additional drive, so you would need a different model.
