Ready for action

The ASUS TUF F15 is a gaming laptop built on Windows 11 with an Intel Core i7-13620H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU at 140W Max TGP. It targets players who want a 15.6 inch machine for modern titles and everyday multitasking. The 2023 design balances portable dimensions with desktop-class graphics performance.

Thermals, noise and power

A pair of 84-blade Arc Flow Fans manages heat from the high-power CPU and GPU without adding extra noise. The cooling system is engineered to sustain the 140W GPU power limit during extended sessions. MIL-STD-810H testing confirms the chassis withstands vibration, humidity and temperature extremes for long-term reliability.

MUX Switch with Advanced Optimus

A hardware MUX Switch routes frames directly from the dGPU to the display, raising gaming performance by 5-10 percent over hybrid graphics. Advanced Optimus automates the switch between iGPU and dGPU based on workload, preserving battery life when full 3D power is not needed. This single feature decides whether the laptop fits a user who values both peak frame rates and unplugged endurance.

Questions about this item

How do I enable the MUX Switch with Advanced Optimus on the RTX 4060?

Open the Armoury Crate application, select the GPU mode tab, and choose Automatic so the laptop routes frames directly from the dGPU to the 144Hz display when gaming and switches back to the iGPU for battery saving.

What user-replaceable parts will need attention later on the DDR5-4800MHz memory and 1TB PCIe 4.0 storage?

The 16GB DDR5-4800MHz memory is soldered and not upgradeable; the 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD sits in an M.2 slot and can be swapped for a larger drive when capacity runs low.

At what GPU power level does the Arc Flow Fans cooling hit its limit during long sessions?

The RTX 4060 runs at 140W Max TGP; the dual 84-blade Arc Flow Fans are tuned for that ceiling, so sustained loads at the full 140W are the thermal limit before clocks throttle.
