Ready for 165 Hz WUXGA gaming

The 16 inch LED panel runs at 1920 x 1200 resolution with a 165 Hz refresh rate. An AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS eight-core processor pairs with a dedicated Radeon RX 7700S GPU carrying 8 GB video memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and 16 GB of DDR5 5600 RAM.

Connectivity built for external displays

One HDMI 2.0 port drives an external monitor while two USB-A 3.2 and two USB-C 3.2 ports handle mice, drives and docks. Wi-Fi 6 AX keeps wireless latency low. The 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 SSD leaves the second M.2 slot free for a storage upgrade.

Dolby Atmos audio and a bundled mouse pad

Dolby Atmos processing enhances the built-in speakers for positional sound in games. A full-size backlit keyboard supports low-light sessions. The package includes a gaming mouse pad so the mouse tracks cleanly on any desk surface.

Questions about this item

Does the Ryzen 7 7735HS throttle when all eight cores run at 3.40GHz for long sessions?

The 8-core processor has a base speed of 3.40GHz and shares a 200-watt cooling system with the Radeon RX 7700S; sustained loads will push the chassis to its thermal limit before the CPU hits its own ceiling.

How loud do the fans get when the Radeon RX 7700S and CPU run flat out together?

Both chips draw from the same 200-watt thermal budget, so the fans spin up to move that heat through a 0.87-inch chassis; expect audible airflow but no published decibel figure.

What must I already own to drive an external 165Hz monitor at 1920 x 1200?

A display that accepts HDMI 2.0 and a matching cable; the laptop provides one HDMI 2.0 port and two USB-C 3.2 ports, but only HDMI is confirmed for video output.
