ASUS TUF GT301 9950X3D Gaming Desktop

This ASUS TUF GT301 desktop pairs a Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor with an RTX 5060 Ti graphics card. 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD provide fast multitasking and load times. A 2TB SATA hard drive adds bulk storage for large game libraries. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and a 750W power supply.

Upgrading from older AM4 or entry-level AM5 builds

Moving to the Ryzen 9 9950X3D makes sense when CPU-bound titles or heavy multitasking push your current platform past its limits. The 16-core design and 4.3GHz base frequency lift minimum frame rates in demanding scenes. If your workload stays GPU-limited at 1080p, the jump yields smaller gains and money is better spent on a faster graphics card.

240mm liquid cooler and standard ATX layout

The included 240mm liquid cooler mounts to the AM5 socket using the supplied bracket; no custom loop experience is required. Memory installs in any of the four DDR5 slots, and the NVMe drive seats in the primary M.2 slot without adapters. Builders should verify case clearance for the 240mm radiator and ensure the 750W unit has the PCIe connectors the RTX 5060 Ti needs.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler fit inside the GT301 chassis without clearance issues?

The 240 mm liquid cooler is factory-fitted inside the GT301 case, so radiator, pump and tubing clearances are already validated.

What is the correct order to seat the Ryzen 9 9950X3D into the AM5 socket and attach the liquid-cooler block?

Install the CPU into the AM5 socket, apply thermal paste if not pre-applied, then mount the liquid-cooler block using the supplied AM5 bracket before connecting the pump header.

When should the 240 mm liquid cooler be flushed or the coolant replaced?

A sealed 240 mm AIO typically runs 3–5 years before coolant degradation; monitor CPU temperatures and plan a flush or unit swap if temps rise steadily.
