Ready-to-play gaming desktop

The ASUS TUF GT501 arrives assembled with an Intel Core i9-12900KF 16-core processor at 3.2GHz, 32GB DDR5 memory and a Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card with 8GB GDDR6. A 1TB NVMe SSD and Windows 11 Home are installed so the system boots straight to the desktop. It targets players who want high frame rates without building from parts.

240mm liquid cooling and 750W supply

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU heat load while the 750W power unit feeds the graphics card and remaining components. The closed-loop cooler keeps the 16-core chip at stable temperatures during extended sessions. Fan noise stays contained inside the chassis under typical gaming workloads.

Mid-tower chassis with four memory slots

The GT501 case holds the liquid radiator, full-length graphics card and power supply with room for airflow. Four DDR5 slots are present and all are currently populated, so adding memory later requires replacing modules. Builders needing extra drive bays or a second graphics card should verify case clearance before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240mm liquid cooler on the Intel Core i9-12900KF LGA 1700 socket, and what step is often missed?

Mount the supplied LGA 1700 bracket, apply thermal paste evenly, secure the cold plate with the diagonal screw pattern, then connect the pump header to the CPU_FAN connector and the radiator fans to CPU_OPT or CHA_FAN so the BIOS sees a valid fan signal.

What maintenance or replacement will the 240mm liquid cooler and 750W power supply need later?

The sealed 240mm loop requires no refill; plan to clean radiator fins and replace fans if noise rises after several years, while the 750W unit should be swapped if coil whine appears or voltages drift under heavy GPU load.

Which limit appears first when the Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB GDDR6 and i9-12900KF run sustained gaming loads?

The GPU 8GB frame buffer fills before the 240mm radiator saturates, forcing texture streaming or resolution scaling once VRAM is exhausted during extended 4K sessions.
