System summary

The ASUS TUF GT501 is a new gaming desktop PC built around an Intel Core i9-14900KF 24-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card with 8GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 32GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD, a 750W power supply and Windows 11 Home pre-installed. A 240mm liquid cooler manages CPU thermals.

Graphics capability

The RTX 5060 Ti provides 8GB of GDDR7 video memory and connects via PCI Express x16, making it the single specification that determines whether this system meets your performance target for 1440p gaming or VR-ready workloads.

Buyer fit

This desktop suits players who want a liquid-cooled, Wi-Fi equipped tower with current-generation DDR5 memory and NVMe storage ready to run modern titles out of the box. Buyers who need more than 8GB of GPU memory for heavy creative rendering or multi-monitor 4K gaming should consider a configuration with a larger frame buffer.

Questions about this item

What does the 24-core i9-14900KF mean for gaming and multitasking?

The 24-core processor handles heavy game logic and background streams at once, with a 3.2 GHz base clock that lifts single-thread speed when only a few cores are active.

How does the PCI Express x16 slot limit the RTX 5060 Ti?

The card runs on a full x16 link so the GPU memory bandwidth of 8 GB GDDR7 is not bottlenecked by the bus.

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler and 750 W supply fit in the GT501 case?

Yes, the chassis is built around a 240 mm radiator and a 750 W unit, so both mount without modification.
