Ready-to-game desktop for 1440p enthusiasts

This ASUS TUF GT501 system pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D eight-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. The CPU runs at a 4.7GHz base frequency on the AM5 platform. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD provide capacity for modern titles and multitasking. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the machine ships tested.

Verify AM5 motherboard compatibility

The processor uses the AM5 socket and is cooled by a 240mm liquid cooler, so confirm your chassis can mount a 240mm radiator and that clearance around the socket is adequate. The graphics card occupies a PCI Express x16 slot and draws power through the included 750W supply; ensure the motherboard power connectors match the unit. Four DDR5 slots are populated, leaving no free DIMM sockets for further memory expansion.

Liquid cooling keeps thermals steady under load

The 240mm liquid cooler maintains stable CPU temperatures during extended gaming sessions while keeping fan noise lower than typical air coolers. The 750W power supply delivers headroom for the RTX 5060 and the eight-core CPU without running near its limit. GDDR7 video memory on the graphics card supports high bandwidth at controlled power draw. The system is designed for sustained 1440p performance with managed acoustics.

Questions about this item

Does the GT501 include a monitor, keyboard and mouse, or do I need to buy them separately?

The system ships with the tower, a 750W power supply, a 240mm liquid cooler, Windows 11 Home, WiFi and RGB lighting. Peripherals such as a monitor, keyboard and mouse are not included.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR5 configuration or add more memory using the spare slots?

The board provides four DDR5 slots. 32 GB is installed, leaving room to expand later if your workloads demand more capacity.

What does the Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz base clock mean for actual gaming frame rates?

The 8-core processor runs at 4.7 GHz base frequency, giving strong single-thread performance that keeps frame rates high in CPU-limited titles when paired with the RTX 5060 8 GB GDDR7.
