Ready-to-play liquid-cooled desktop

The ASUS TUF GT501 arrives with a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D at 4.3GHz and an NVIDIA RTX 5080 with 16GB GDDR7. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 and a 1TB NVMe SSD are installed. Windows 11 Home is pre-loaded so the system boots straight to the desktop.

240mm cooler and 1000W supply inside

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermals while a 1000W power unit feeds the graphics card and remaining components. Component brands may vary between units. Wi-Fi and RGB lighting are integrated into the chassis.

PCI Express x16 sets the GPU link

The RTX 5080 connects through a PCI Express x16 slot, which defines the bandwidth ceiling for the card. The four DDR5 slots are fully populated, so adding memory means replacing existing modules. Storage expansion will require an additional NVMe drive or external device.

Questions about this item

How often should the 240mm liquid cooler on the Ryzen 9 9950X3D be checked or refilled?

The sealed 240mm liquid cooler on the Ryzen 9 9950X3D is maintenance-free; no refills are required. Dust the radiator fins every few months to keep airflow clear.

What thermal limit throttles the RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 first during long gaming sessions?

The RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 hits its GPU temperature target before the 1000W power supply reaches its limit, so core clock reduces to stay within thermal spec.

How loud is the 240mm liquid cooler and RTX 5080 fans when the system runs all day at load?

The 240mm liquid cooler and RTX 5080 fans run at low RPM under sustained load, producing a quiet hum that stays below typical room noise.
