Ready-to-game desktop

The ASUS TUF GT501 White arrives as a complete Windows 11 Home system built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor and a Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. It targets players who want high-frame-rate 1440p performance without assembling parts themselves. Buyers who need a smaller chassis or a lower price point should look elsewhere.

Thermals and acoustics

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while a 750W power supply feeds the whole platform. The closed-loop cooler keeps the 3.8GHz Ryzen 7 9000 Series chip at stable temperatures during extended sessions. Fan noise stays in the background under typical gaming loads. Power draw scales with the workload but remains within the unit's rated capacity.

The graphics card

The Radeon RX 7800 XT with 16GB GDDR6 is the component that defines 1440p capability in this build. It delivers the frame rates and memory bandwidth needed for current titles at high settings. If your workflow demands more video memory or compute throughput, this GPU will be the limiting factor.

Questions about this item

How is the 240mm liquid cooler mounted in the GT501 case and what step do people miss?

The 240mm liquid cooler is pre-installed on the Ryzen 7 9700X; the step people miss is removing the shipping brackets that hold the radiator fans in place before first power-on.

What maintenance or replacement will the 240mm liquid cooler need later?

The sealed 240mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its service life; if pump noise or CPU temperatures rise after several years, the whole unit must be replaced with another AM5-compatible AIO.

What limit appears first under sustained load with the 750W power supply and Radeon RX 7800 XT?

The 750W power supply sets the ceiling; sustained combined CPU and GPU load can approach its rated output, so total system power draw becomes the limiting factor before thermal throttling.
