ASUS TUF GT502 Ryzen 9 9950X gaming desktop

This ASUS TUF GT502 desktop ships new with a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor running at 4.3GHz base frequency. It pairs the CPU with a Radeon RX 9070 graphics card equipped with 16GB GDDR6 memory. The system includes 128GB DDR5 RAM across four slots and a 2TB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed for immediate use.

240mm liquid cooler and 750W power supply

A 240mm liquid cooler handles thermals for the 16-core processor under sustained gaming or creative workloads. The 750W power supply delivers stable power to the CPU, GPU and remaining components. The chassis includes WiFi and RGB lighting as standard features. Components brands may vary within the build specification.

Upgrade path for high-core-count workloads

This configuration suits users moving from lower core-count CPUs or smaller memory kits who need 16 cores and 128GB DDR5 for rendering, compilation or heavy multitasking. The jump is worth it when current hardware bottlenecks multi-threaded tasks or caps memory capacity. Buyers who need more storage or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the 240mm liquid cooler installed on the Ryzen 9 9950X, and what step do people get wrong?

The 240mm liquid cooler comes pre-installed on the AM5 socket; the step people miss is removing the protective plastic film from the cold-plate before first boot.

What maintenance will the 240mm liquid cooler and 750W power supply need later?

The sealed 240mm liquid cooler requires no refill; clean the radiator fins and PSU intake filter every six to twelve months with compressed air.

What limit appears first on the Ryzen 9 9950X and Radeon RX 9070 during sustained gaming loads?

The 16-core CPU and 16GB GDDR6 GPU share the 750W power budget, so the 750W supply’s maximum output is the first hard limit under continuous heavy load.
