ASUS TUF-RTX3080-12G-GAMING GeForce RTX 3080 12GB graphics card

12GB GDDR6X 384-bit frame buffer

The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 12GB is a PCI Express 4.0 graphics card built on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture. It delivers 8960 CUDA cores and a 19 Gbps effective memory clock across a 384-bit interface. The card targets enthusiasts who need high memory bandwidth for 4K gaming and content creation workloads. It supports DirectX 12 Ultimate and OpenGL 4.6 for modern API features.

Upgrade from 10GB 320-bit RTX 3080 models

This model replaces the earlier 10GB variant by expanding video memory to 12GB and widening the bus to 384-bit, raising total bandwidth for texture-heavy titles. The jump is worth it when games or creative applications exceed 10GB VRAM at high resolutions. Boost clocks reach 1740 MHz in OC mode and 1710 MHz in Gaming mode. The Ampere SM doubles FP32 throughput versus the prior Turing generation.

Triple-fan cooler with dual 8-pin power

A triple-fan thermal solution dissipates heat from the GPU and memory modules. The board draws power through two 8-pin connectors and requires an 850W power supply. Outputs include two HDMI 2.1 ports and three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors, driving up to four displays at 7680 x 4320 resolution. HDCP 2.3 and VR readiness complete the feature set for protected content and headset use.
