Business display for office and home use

The ASUS VA249QGS is a 24-inch IPS monitor with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its frameless design and 178° viewing angles suit shared workspaces or multi-monitor arrays. The panel covers 99% sRGB for accurate colour in everyday tasks.

Verify video outputs and USB host link

Check that your system provides HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA to match the single port of each type on the monitor. The four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports function only when the supplied USB Type-B to A cable connects the monitor to a host port on your computer. Allow 100 x 100mm VESA spacing if you plan to wall-mount.

Cables and software simplify first use

An HDMI cable and the USB upstream cable are included so video and the built-in hub work immediately. The DisplayWidget Center application lets you adjust brightness, colour presets and Adaptive-Sync settings through a mouse-driven interface instead of the on-screen menu. The bundled power cord completes the connection without extra purchases.

Questions about this item

Will the monitor fit on a standard VESA mount?

Yes, it uses the 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern so it attaches to any compatible arm or bracket.

Does the 1 ms response time mean ghosting is eliminated in fast games?

The 1 ms figure is MPRT, a motion-blur reduction metric; actual pixel response varies by transition.

Can I charge a laptop through the four USB 3.2 ports?

The ports are USB 3.2 Gen 1 downstream ports for data and peripheral power, not upstream power delivery.
