Dual-mode 4K & FHD display

The ASUS VG27UQEL5A is a 27-inch IPS gaming monitor that switches between 4K resolution at 80Hz and Full HD at 310Hz. It targets players who want high pixel density for single-player titles and high frame rates for competitive shooters. The panel covers 120% sRGB with a 400 cd/m² peak brightness and 1,000:1 static contrast.

Included cables and software extras

A DisplayPort 1.4 cable and an L-shaped screwdriver ship in the box for immediate setup. Buyers also receive a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription valid until 2026. DisplayWidget Center lets you adjust monitor settings with a mouse instead of the onboard joystick.

Ergonomic stand and VESA mounting

The stand provides height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustments for flexible positioning. A 100 x 100mm VESA pattern allows wall or arm mounting if desk space is limited. Two 2-watt speakers and a headphone jack handle basic audio. Power consumption stays below 65W during operation.

Questions about this item

Does the panel run 4K at 80 Hz and drop to FHD for the 310 Hz mode?

Yes, the dual-mode design lets the 27-inch IPS panel run at 3840 x 2160 at 80 Hz or switch to FHD at 310 Hz for high-speed play

Will the stand fit a standard VESA arm if I want to remove the included base?

The monitor uses a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern, so any compatible arm or wall mount will attach directly

What cables are supplied so I can use both refresh-rate modes right away?

A DisplayPort 1.4 cable is included; HDMI 2.0 cables are not in the box, so add one if you plan to connect a second source via HDMI
