27-inch 240Hz curved VA monitor

The ASUS VG27VQMY is a 27-inch Full HD gaming monitor with a 1500R VA panel, 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT response time. It includes FreeSync Premium, ELMB Sync, twin 2W speakers and a stand with swivel, tilt and height adjustment. Connectivity covers two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.2 and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports.

Ideal for competitive FHD gaming.

This display suits players who want fluid 1080p motion at very high frame rates and value the immersion of a curved screen. Buyers who need more desktop real estate for productivity, colour-critical editing or 1440p and 4K gaming should look at higher-resolution panels instead.

1500R curvature defines the viewing experience

The 1500R curve wraps the 27-inch panel around the viewer for a more immersive field of view in games. If you prefer a flat screen for multi-monitor alignment or accurate straight-line work, this curvature makes the monitor the wrong choice.

Questions about this item

Will the 2W built-in speakers need external audio later?

The integrated 2W speakers handle basic sound, but headsets or external speakers connect via the 3.5mm jack for richer audio.

What limits the 240Hz panel during long sessions?

The VA panel runs at 350 cd/m² brightness and 3000:1 contrast; sustained full-brightness use is the first thermal ceiling.

How loud or hot does the monitor get after hours of 240Hz gaming?

No fans are present, so noise stays near silent; the VA panel and 100–240 VAC supply warm modestly but stay within normal operating range.
