Large Screen Productivity Laptop

The ASUS Vivobook 17 F1704VAP-SS54 is a 17.3-inch Windows 11 Home laptop built for users who want a spacious Full HD IPS display for documents, spreadsheets and media. An Intel Core 5 120U processor, 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD provide responsive performance for everyday multitasking. Silver chassis, backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 complete the package.

Suited For Fixed Desk Use

This laptop suits students, office workers and home users who keep the machine on a desk and value screen real estate over portability. The non-touch anti-glare panel helps in bright rooms and the integrated Intel UHD Graphics handle standard video playback and web content. Buyers who need a lightweight device for daily commuting or who require discrete graphics for gaming or creative rendering should look elsewhere.

17.3-Inch Display Decides Fit

The defining specification is the 17.3-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS panel; it sets the physical footprint, weight class and viewing comfort for long sessions. If that screen size matches your workspace, the Core 5 120U, 16GB DDR4 and 512GB NVMe combination delivers balanced everyday speed. If a smaller or higher-resolution display is required, this model will not fit the brief.

Questions about this item

How long can the Intel Core 5 120U sustain heavy workloads before heat limits performance?

The processor shares the laptop cooling system with the integrated Intel UHD Graphics, so prolonged full-load tasks will raise chassis temperature until the fan curve balances heat output.

What is the fan noise level when the Vivobook 17 runs all day on mains power?

Under continuous office workloads the single fan runs at low RPM, producing a quiet background hum that stays unobtrusive in a typical room.

Which peripherals must I already own to use the 17.3 inch FHD display and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity?

No extra hardware is required; the built-in IPS panel and Wi-Fi 6 radio work immediately with Windows 11 Home.
