15.6-inch FHD IPS Display

The ASUS VivoBook X1504VAP is a 15.6-inch laptop built around a 1920 x 1080 IPS panel. It runs Windows 11 Home on an Intel Core i3 100U processor with 8GB DDR5 memory and a 128GB NVMe drive. The blue chassis includes an 180-degree layflat hinge and a physical webcam shield for everyday privacy.

Integrated Graphics Thermal Profile

Intel UHD Graphics handle the visual workload without a discrete GPU, keeping heat output modest during typical office tasks and media playback. The 6-core processor operates between 1.2 and 4.7 GHz with 10MB smart cache, drawing only enough power for mainstream productivity. Fan noise stays low while the system manages web browsing, document editing and video streaming.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous multi-core demand the 4.7 GHz boost cannot be held indefinitely; clocks settle lower to manage thermals within the slim chassis. The 128GB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and application launches but offers limited space for large project files or game libraries. Buyers who need more storage or sustained heavy compute should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

How do I open the 180 degree layflat hinge without stressing the display panel?

Place the laptop on a flat surface, lift the lid from the centre edge, and swing it back until it rests flat at 180 degrees; forcing the corners can twist the IPS panel.

When will the 128GB NVMe SSD need replacement?

The 128GB NVMe drive should be replaced once free space drops below 10 GB or when Windows 11 Home reports degraded health in the storage settings.

At what point does the Intel UHD Graphics throttle during a long 1080p video session?

Sustained 1080p playback pushes the integrated graphics to its thermal limit first, causing the Core 3 100U to drop from 4.7 GHz to its 1.2 GHz base clock.
