17.3-inch business laptop with Ryzen 7

The ASUS Vivobook X712DA-202.MV combines a 17.3-inch HD+ display with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700U quad-core processor that reaches 4 GHz. Twenty gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SATA SSD provide capacity for multitasking and fast boot times. Integrated Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics handle everyday visual tasks without a discrete card. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate use.

Upgraded configuration installed by technicians

The supplier opens each unit to install the 16 GB SODIMM module alongside the 4 GB onboard memory and to fit the 512 GB SATA SSD. No further assembly is required; the laptop arrives ready to power on. Buyers who want a sealed factory box should note the box has been opened for this professional upgrade. The 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, USB 3.2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen1, two USB 2.0 ports and SD reader are all functional out of the box.

Sustained workloads on a 45 W adapter

The 45 W power supply and 32 Wh two-cell battery support typical office and web workloads for several hours. Under continuous heavy CPU load the quad-core chip may throttle to stay within its thermal envelope, so extended rendering or compilation runs will run slower than short bursts. The 60 Hz panel and integrated graphics are not suited for high-refresh gaming or prolonged GPU-intensive tasks. Fan noise increases noticeably during long periods of high utilisation.
