Everyday laptop for home and study

The ASUS VivoBook X1504VAP is a 15.6 inch Windows 11 Home notebook built around an Intel Core 3 100U processor with six cores and a 4.7 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 8 GB of DDR5 memory and a 512 GB NVMe solid-state drive. The Full HD IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution without touch input.

Blue chassis with lay-flat hinge and webcam shield

The blue finish covers a body that opens to a full 180 degree lay-flat position for flexible viewing angles. A physical webcam shutter slides across the camera lens when privacy is required. An HDMI port is provided for external displays or projectors. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles video playback and light creative work.

Integrated graphics and fixed memory limit heavy

The Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory and is suited to streaming, office applications and casual gaming only. The 8 GB of DDR5 cannot be expanded beyond the factory configuration. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or larger memory capacity should consider a different class of machine.

Questions about this item

What external resolution does the HDMI port on the X1504VAP support?

The HDMI port on the ASUS VivoBook X1504VAP connects external displays at up to 1920 x 1080 resolution, matching the built-in Full HD panel specification.

What are the physical dimensions and mounting requirements for the storage drive in the X1504VAP?

The 512 GB NVMe SSD uses an M.2 form factor that installs directly into the internal slot; no 2.5-inch bay or caddy is required for this laptop.

How is the memory upgraded on the X1504VAP, and which step is often missed?

The 8 GB DDR5 memory is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded; the step people get wrong is trying to open the chassis for a SO-DIMM slot that does not exist.
