A 27-inch QHD Fast IPS panel reaches a 260 Hz refresh rate and a 0.3 ms minimum response time with FreeSync Premium and G-Sync Compatible support
The ASUS XG27ACMEG-G is a 27-inch Fast IPS display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a 260Hz overclocked refresh rate. It targets competitive players who need low-latency motion clarity at QHD detail levels. The panel covers 1.073 billion colours and reaches 400 cd/m2 brightness with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. Anti-glare coating and 178-degree viewing angles suit long sessions.
Moving from a standard 60Hz or 144Hz screen to 260Hz cuts frame time dramatically, making motion tracking and target acquisition smoother in fast-paced titles. The 0.3ms minimum response time and ELMB SYNC reduce ghosting while variable refresh rate remains active. The jump is worth it when your GPU can sustain frame rates well above 144fps at 2560 x 1440. At lower frame outputs the advantage shrinks.
The monitor provides one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1 input for video. DisplayPort 1.4 carries the full 260Hz refresh rate at 2560 x 1440 with 10-bit colour. HDMI 2.1 bandwidth caps 10-bit HDR at 144Hz unless display stream compression is used. USB Type-C with DP Alt Mode mirrors the DisplayPort 1.4 video limit. No audio output or built-in speakers are present.
