What it is and who it is for

The ASUS ZenPad Z10 ZT500KL is a 9.7-inch Android tablet with 32 GB of internal storage and a 2048 x 1536 display. It ships new in slate gray and includes Verizon 4G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi. The hexa-core Qualcomm processor handles everyday apps, media streaming and light productivity tasks for users who want a portable screen with mobile data.

How it fits into a setup

A microSD slot lets you add more space for offline files without opening the device. Micro-USB 2.0 provides charging and wired data transfer to a PC or hub. Because the tablet runs standard Android, it works with the same keyboard cases, stands and Bluetooth accessories you already use, so no proprietary dock is required.

Behaviour under sustained load

The hexa-core chipset maintains responsive navigation during long reading or video sessions without aggressive throttling. Passive cooling keeps the chassis silent while the 1.08 lb body stays comfortable to hold for extended periods. Verizon 4G remains stable during continuous downloads or hotspot use, so the connection does not drop when the workload lengthens.

Questions about this item

What is the screen resolution that the GPU must drive continuously?

The display runs at 2048 x 1536 pixels, so the integrated graphics push that full resolution whenever the screen is on.

How much heat does the hexa-core Qualcomm processor produce during all-day use?

The tablet weighs 1.08 lb and uses passive cooling; sustained loads will warm the metal chassis but there is no fan to generate noise.

Which carrier SIM is required for the 4G connection to activate?

The unit is locked to Verizon, so a Verizon 4G LTE SIM must be inserted for mobile data to work.
