Yar's Revenge downloadable action game

Yar's Revenge is a downloadable action title from Atari, delivered as a Steam activation code. Players take flight across exotic alien worlds to avenge their fallen race while upgrading armor and weapon capabilities against the Qotiles. The game carries an ESRB E10+ rating for fantasy violence and requires a Steam account for activation and installation. Buyers in blocked regions including AF, BY, CF, CD, CU, IR, IQ, KP, LB, LY, MM, RU, SO, SD, SY, UA, VE, YE, ZW and SS cannot activate this product.

Runs on modest Windows PCs with 1.5 GB storage

Minimum requirements call for Windows XP SP2, Vista SP2 or 7, an Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 or AMD Athlon X2 4400+ processor, 1 GB memory and a Radeon ATI Radeon HD 2600 or NVIDIA GeForce 8600 graphics card. DirectX 9.0c and 1.5 GB free hard-drive space are also required. Integrated graphics such as Intel G43/G45 Express are not supported, so systems relying on those chipsets will not run the game.

Modern remake of the 2010 Atari classic

This release replaces the original 2010 retail version with a digital Steam edition that removes physical media and adds account-based ownership. The jump is worth it for players who want instant access without disc handling and who meet the modest hardware baseline. Collectors seeking physical packaging or buyers in blocked regions should look elsewhere, as this product is download-only and region-restricted.
