  • Designed specifically for DC-R302 mixer/recorder
  • Hands-free operation for videographers and sound technicians

Purpose and users

The ATEN EX-RT1 is a remote start unit built exclusively for the DC-R302 mixer/recorder. It gives videographers and sound technicians wireless control over recording transport without being tethered to the device.

Operational limits

The unit only communicates with the DC-R302 and cannot trigger other recorders or mixers. Its buttons handle start, stop and transport functions, but it offers no audio routing, level adjustment or menu navigation for the host unit.

Deciding specification

Compatibility is limited to the 302 model; the EX-RT1 will not pair with any other mixer or recorder. Buyers who need remote control for a different device must look elsewhere.
