What this splitter does

The ATEN VanCryst VS172 takes a single DVI Dual Link source and sends the same video and audio signal to two displays. It is built for installers, presenters and digital-signage operators who need identical output on two screens without running a second source.

Build and connections

The black enclosure measures 12.000 units and weighs 20 units, giving a compact footprint that fits on a desk or in a rack shelf. Dual DVI Dual Link outputs and integrated audio ports mean both monitors receive the full resolution and sound without extra adapters or cables.

Heat, noise and power

Passive cooling keeps the unit silent during continuous operation. Low power draw means it runs from the supplied adapter without adding noticeable load to a standard outlet, making it suitable for all-day signage or presentation use.
