Assembly Notes

Parts are molded in metallic barnstormers green plastic and include two pilot figures, a ground crewman, a dolly, a detailed engine, cockpit and landing gear. Alignment of the landing gear struts and the small crew figures requires patience; test-fit each sub-assembly before applying cement.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the finished model matches the 1:48 scale after assembly?

Compare the completed wingspan and fuselage length to the 1:48 scale plans included in the instructions; the kit is moulded from the original Lindberg tooling so dimensions are accurate.

What parts are included in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains all plastic sprues for the airframe, two pilot figures, a ground crewman, a dolly, detailed engine and cockpit pieces, landing gear and two decal sheets; glue, paint and modelling tools are not supplied.

Which version of this kit should I choose if I want the Aurora Barnstormers scheme?

This single release includes both decal options, one of which is the Aurora Barnstormers livery, so no alternate version is required.
