1:48 Scale Sherman Medium Tank Kit

This 1:48 scale model kit reproduces a Sherman medium tank using original Aurora tooling. It is moulded in olive drab with rubber tracks and includes four crew figures, a rotating turret and an elevating gun. The kit is rated at skill level 2 and suits hobbyists who want a detailed historical armour project.

Original Tooling and Moving Parts

The original Aurora tooling provides authentic period detail while the rubber tracks add realistic texture. A rotating turret and elevating gun allow the finished model to be posed in different combat positions. The four included crew figures enable a complete diorama scene without extra purchases.

Questions about this item

Will the rubber tracks need replacing as they age?

The rubber tracks are moulded as part of the kit; no separate replacement track set is offered by Atlantis.

Which step is most likely to stall progress during a long build session?

Aligning the four crew figures and seating them inside the hull before the turret goes on is the most fiddly stage.
