Lightweight 5.2" HDMI Recorder

The Atomos Ninja 5.2" 4K HDMI Recording Monitor is a lightweight on-camera monitor and recorder built for creators who need reliable HDMI capture with ProRes, Avid DNxHD, H.265, and ProRes RAW support. It runs AtomOS 11 for improved memory management and a modern interface, and the bundle adds a monitor mount, two NP-F770 batteries, two chargers, and screen wipes.

Sustained recording with AtomOS 11

AtomOS 11 optimises memory management so the recorder maintains responsiveness during long takes, and tools such as RecordAssist and PlayBackAssist help arrange recording and playback in advance. The monitor handles DCI 4K up to 60p and ProRes RAW up to 6Kp30, while the dual 4400 mAh NP-F770 batteries provide extended power for continuous sessions.

Check camera HDMI output and power

Verify that your camera outputs a clean HDMI signal at the resolution and frame rate you intend to record, and confirm it can trigger the Ninja over HDMI. Ensure you have a secure mounting point for the 7" monitor mount and that the NP-F770 battery form factor fits your rig. Wireless sharing via Atomos Connect requires a separate Connect module and network access.
