Dual-port 25GbE PCIe 3.0 x16 card with two SFP28 optical fibre interfaces
The ATTO FFRMN322000 is a 25GbE dual-port network card built on a PCI Express 3.0 x16 host interface. It presents two SFP28 cages for optical fiber connections and supports both 10GBase-X and 25GBase-X network technologies. The plug-in card form factor fits standard expansion slots in servers and workstations.
This card targets environments that need twin 25 Gbps fiber uplinks, such as storage clusters, virtualization hosts or high-performance computing nodes. It is not intended for desktop PCs that lack a full-length x16 slot or SFP28 optics, nor for networks that only run at 1 Gbps over copper cabling.
Installation follows normal plug-in card procedure: seat the board in an available PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and secure the bracket. The most common issue is forgetting that SFP28 transceivers and matching fiber patch cables are not included, so the ports remain inactive until those modules are sourced and inserted.

Yes, the host interface is PCI Express 3.0 x16, so a compatible full-length slot is required.
The card supports both 10GBase-X and 25GBase-X, so 10 GbE optics will negotiate at 10 Gbps on the SFP28 ports.
Check the adapter properties or switch port counters; both should report a 25 Gbps link speed when 25GBase-X optics are fitted.
