What this cable does
The AUBEAMTO PQ002 is a USB-C to USB-C cable built to the USB4 Gen 3x2 standard. It carries up to 240W of power, 40Gbps of data and 8K video at 60Hz in a single 3.3ft run, making it suitable for high-power laptops, eGPU enclosures, docking stations and fast-charging phones.
The spec that decides fit
Full 240W delivery requires a PD 3.1 Extended Power Range charger and a device that negotiates 48V at 5A; without both ends supporting EPR the cable will fall back to 180W, 140W, 100W or lower profiles automatically.
Behaviour under sustained load
An integrated E-marker chip manages the 48V 5A contract continuously, so the cable maintains its rated power and 40Gbps throughput during long charging sessions or large file transfers without thermal throttling or signal degradation.

Questions about this item
What does 40Gbps mean when I plug this cable into my laptop and an external SSD?
The cable supports USB4 Gen 3x2 so data moves at up to 40Gbps between two USB4 devices; real-world reads reach 2.8GB/s and writes 2.1GB/s when both ends support that speed.
Which charging standard limits the 240W figure in daily use?
PD 3.1 Extended Power Range caps delivery at 48V 5A for 240W; the cable also handles PD 3.0 PPS, QC 4.0 and lower profiles down to 180W, 140W, 100W and below.
What clearance do I need for the connectors on this 3.3ft cable?
Both ends are USB-C male plugs, bi-directional and reversible, so they fit any USB-C port without a specific orientation or extra adapter.
