Right-angle USB-C cable for tight spaces

The AUBEAMTO PQ118 is a 1.6 ft USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 cable with a right-angle Type-C connector on one end. It delivers up to 20 Gbps data transfer, 4K@60 Hz video output and 100 W Power Delivery charging. The short, angled design suits cramped desk setups, VR headsets or portable docks where a straight plug would snag or protrude.

Suits VR, dock and side-port users.

This cable fits owners of Quest headsets, MacBook Pro, Switch, Phone 15 and laptops with USB-C ports that support DP Alt Mode and Thunderbolt 3. It is not for users who need a longer reach across a room, a straight connector for recessed ports, or CarPlay and wireless-charger compatibility, which the cable does not support.

20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 data rate. Your host and device must both implement this standard to reach the rated speed; otherwise the link falls back to USB 3.1, 3.0 or 2.0 speeds. Video output also requires a DP Alt Mode port, and 100 W charging needs a PD 3.0, QC 3.0 or Samsung AFC source.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.6FT cable come with any adapters or do I need to buy a charger separately?

The package contains the USB C to USB C cable only; a PD 3.0 charger must be purchased separately to reach the 100W output.

Should I choose this 20Gbps model or a slower USB 3.1 cable for my Thunderbolt 3 SSD?

Select this 20Gbps cable; it is fully compatible with Thunderbolt 3 ports and delivers the Gen 2x2 speed the SSD requires.

Will the 4K@60Hz video spec work when I plug the cable into my laptop’s USB-C port?

Video output reaches 3840x2160 at 60Hz only if the laptop’s USB-C port supports DP Alt Mode.
