Fully automatic belt-drive turntable

The Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM is a fully automatic belt-drive stereo turntable finished in gunmetal and black. It plays vinyl at two speeds, 33 and 45 RPM, and includes a built-in switchable phono preamp for direct connection to a wide range of audio systems. A detachable RCA output cable and a dust cover are supplied in the box.

Check your amplifier inputs and cartridge needs

Verify whether your amplifier or powered speakers have a dedicated phono input or require a line-level signal, then set the preamp switch accordingly. The integrated Dual Magnet cartridge uses a replaceable stylus; confirm that a replacement stylus is available for future maintenance. Ensure you have a stable, level surface for the anti-resonance platter.

Anti-resonance die-cast aluminium platter

The die-cast aluminium platter is designed to minimise resonance during playback. An external AC adapter moves AC/DC conversion outside the chassis to reduce noise in the signal chain. The redesigned tonearm base and headshell improve tracking accuracy. The dust cover protects the platter and tonearm when the turntable is not in use.

Questions about this item

Does the AT-LP60X-GM come with cables and a cartridge, or do I need to buy them separately?

The turntable includes a detachable RCA output cable, a 45 RPM adapter and a dual magnet cartridge with a replaceable stylus already fitted to the headshell.

Which speed settings should I select for my 33 and 45 RPM records on this model?

Choose 33 for standard LPs and 45 for seven-inch singles; the motor handles both speeds automatically.

How does the external AC adapter affect sound quality when the turntable is connected to my system?

Moving the AC/DC conversion outside the chassis keeps mains noise out of the signal path, giving a cleaner output to your amplifier or powered speakers.
