Phono equalizer adds a low-noise MM/MC stage with selectable 47 kΩ / 120 Ω inputs and precision RIAA response in an all-metal shielded enclosure
The AT-PEQ30 adds a dedicated phono stage to a turntable system or upgrades an integrated preamplifier. It accepts both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges through a selectable input with fixed gain and impedance settings. High-quality FET inputs and a negative feedback equalizer circuit keep the signal path quiet. The all-metal enclosure shields the circuitry from radio and electronic interference.
The MM input presents 47 kiloohms impedance and 4.5 mV sensitivity, while the MC input offers 120 ohms and 0.28 mV sensitivity. These fixed values suit a broad range of cartridges without adjustment. Builders needing variable loading or adjustable gain for low-output MC designs will find the controls absent. Precision components deliver an accurate RIAA response within the defined input parameters.
The unit runs without a fan, relying on its metal chassis to dissipate the low heat produced by the analog circuitry. An included AC adapter supplies power, keeping the mains transformer outside the signal enclosure. Gold-plated RCA connectors maintain clean contact for the stereo input and output. No power consumption or noise floor figures are provided by the manufacturer.

Yes, the AT-PEQ30 provides a selectable MM input with 47 kiloohms impedance and 4.5 mV sensitivity, matching standard moving magnet cartridge requirements.
Play a known test record and listen for flat frequency response; the unit uses precision components to achieve excellent RIAA accuracy with low noise and distortion.
The box contains the AT-PEQ30 phono equalizer and its AC adapter; you must supply RCA cables to connect the gold-plated outputs to your amplifier.
