0.6 mil conical replacement stylus for AT-VM510 and AT-VM610 cartridges with 1.8 to 2.2 g tracking force
The AT-VMN10XCB is a 0.6 mil conical replacement stylus designed for Audio-Technica AT-VM510xCB and AT-VM610xMONO dual moving magnet cartridges. It serves vinyl listeners who need a fresh needle to restore tracking accuracy on those specific models. Buyers with other cartridge lines or elliptical tip requirements cannot use this stylus.
The stylus operates at a tracking force range of 1.8 to 2.2 g with a 2.0 g standard setting. This parameter directly affects groove contact and record wear, so the tonearm must be adjustable within that window. No additional accessories, alignment tools or mounting hardware are included in the package.
Installation consists of removing the old stylus assembly and sliding the new unit into the cartridge body until it clicks. The main risk is applying excessive side pressure, which can bend the cantilever or damage the generator coils. Users should also verify the tonearm is rebalanced to the 2.0 g standard after fitting.

Replace the stylus when tracking degrades or after several hundred hours of play; the bonded conical tip wears gradually and cannot be resharpened.
The manufacturer specifies a maximum tracking force of 2.2 g; staying at or below 2.0 g standard reduces groove wear and preserves cantilever compliance.
As a passive moving-magnet cartridge it generates no heat and draws no power; only the phono preamp consumes electricity during extended use.
