SKU CH-D5Y8-X5J0V MPN AT-XP3/H

Premounted DJ cartridge on headshell for direct turntable installation

  • Premounted cartridge saves setup time
  • Elliptical stylus tracks grooves accurately
  • DJ-focused design handles back-cueing and scratching
  • Rugged headshell protects cartridge during transport

Premounted DJ cartridge kit

The AT-XP3/H delivers a factory-aligned cartridge and headshell combination built for club and battle DJs who need reliable tracking during back-cueing and scratching. It arrives ready to mount on a standard S-shaped tonearm without additional alignment tools or setup time.

Low-mass tracking with minimal wear

The elliptical stylus traces groove modulations accurately while keeping record wear low during heavy cueing. High output voltage drives mixer phono stages cleanly without extra gain, and the rugged plastic body resists vibration feedback in loud booth environments.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the premounted AT-XP3/H onto my tonearm without skipping the overhang adjustment?

Slide the AT-HS6BK headshell onto the tonearm, tighten the lock ring finger-tight, then use the supplied overhang gauge to set the stylus tip to the marked distance before locking it down.

Which stylus do I order when the conical tip on the AT-XP3 cartridge wears out?

Order the Audio-Technica ATN-XP3 replacement stylus; it clips onto the cartridge body without tools and restores the original tracking profile.
