USB-C condenser microphone for creators

The Audio-Technica AT2020USB-X is a cardioid condenser microphone that connects directly via USB-C, delivering 24-bit/96 kHz resolution without an external interface. It is aimed at podcasters, streamers, musicians and voice artists who need studio-quality capture in a simple, plug-and-play package.

Cardioid pattern with built-in monitoring

The cardioid pickup pattern focuses on sound directly in front of the capsule, reducing room noise and rear reflections in untreated spaces. A headphone jack with volume and mix control provides zero-latency monitoring of the microphone signal blended with playback audio, while a touch-sensitive mute button with LED status allows silent on/off switching.

High-resolution capture for sustained sessions

The integrated A/D converter maintains 24-bit depth at 96 kHz sample rate throughout extended recording or streaming sessions, preserving detail and dynamic range without dropouts. The included desk stand offers stable placement on a desktop, and the bundle adds a microfibre cloth and microphone cleaner for keeping the capsule and body free of dust and residue.
